Daniel Tulppo, 68, of Atlantic Mine, Taken By Death on Monday
Daniel Tulppo, 68, of Atlantic Mine passed away Monday morning after an illness of three months.
Born in Finland, Nov. 20, 1884, he came to the United States 54 years ago, residing first in Trout Creek. He later moved to Painesdale and then to Detroit, but for the past four years he had resided in Atlantic Mine.
Surviving are a son, Yalmer of Colorado; two daughters, Helen and Martha of Butte, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Keranen pf Atlantic Mine and Mrs. Valentine Arola of Detroit.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Walter Torola will officiate. Burial will be in the Atlantic Mine Cemetery.
