She came to Keya Paha County, Nebraska while a small child and continued her residence here until the time of her death.
She was united in marriage to Cyrus O. Snider January 2, 1905. To this union were born ten children: Leo, Springfield, Oregon; Mary Whitcher, Aloha, Oregon, Douglas, Rapid City, South Dakota, Frances Cook, Springview, Nebraska, Zelma Snider, Wynne Peery, and Virginia Mathias, all of Denver, Colorado; Calvin, Marshall Islands, and Ross, Bethesda, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband August 11, 1932 and by a son, Horace, October 7, 1950.
Besides her children, she is survived by two brothers, Robert and Herbert Drain; one sister, Lillian McKee; four half brothers, Jim, Albert, Walter, and Joe Draine; two half sisters, Ada Alderman and Adelphia Otto; a step sister, Myrtle Crinklo; 27 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was united with the Burton Assembly of God as a charter member in 1931 and ramained a faithful member until the time of her death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Burton Church Wednesday July 10, 1963 with burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Springview.
