KERANEN FUNERAL HELD AT ROUSSEAU
Matron is Stricken at Hancock Hospital.
Mass--Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Keranen, 36, Rousseau matron who died Saturday in a Hancock hospital were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Rousseau town hall by the Rev. Mr. Mickelson. Burial was in the Rousseau cemetery.
Mrs. Keranen died after a lengthy illness. She was born in Greenland and had lived in this vicinity most of her life. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Pearl, Lorraine and Jean, and two sons, Edwin and Robert, all at home. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Kurkl,of Berkeley, Calif., Mrs. Hilda Garrison of Pontiac and Mrs. Tyyne Takkinen of Rousseau and a brother, John Hendrickson.
