James S. Huffman. Last Saturday the sad news was conveyed to this office by telephone that James Huffman died at Cottonwood Point and passed from this veil of tears into the life everlasting.
Mr. Huffman was a well known farmer and had lived in this county all his life. He was one of our best citizens. W.H. Huffman, our esteemed townsman was a twin brother.
Mr. Huffman was born on October 21, 1853 and leaves many warm friends and a number of relatives to mourn his loss.
The interment took place in the new city cemetery at this place Sunday afternoon.
