Clarence Wayne Alford, age 66, died on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at his home near Bremond, Texas. Graveside services were held at Forest Grove Cemetery, near Rockdale. Survivors include his wife, Janice Springer Alford of Bremond; a son, Shane Alford of Bremond; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George Oliver and Donna Alford of Damon and Curtis Aaron and Linda Alford of Bremond; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Alice Faye Blackmon of Denton, Twila Gene Gibson of Fresno, Rita Joyce and Roy Oliver of Porter and Rose Marie and Steve Shelton of El Campo; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Nickels Alford.
