Married William July 22, 1949Velma Malinda Adcock Biven, age 90 of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on March, 27, 1929 in Clark County, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Amy Pierce Adcock. Velma was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, yard work, flowers, camping and traveling. In addition to her parents, Velma was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jason Wilson and Christopher Turner, five sisters, Flossie Wilson, Cleodia Sossomon, Florene Carson-Jester, Ruthie Morgan and Maurice Allison and four brothers, Leroy, Merlon, Wordon and Charles Adcock.

Velma is survived by her husband of seventy years, William David Biven of Arkadelphia, three daughters, Kay Daniels (Jim) of Sandy, OR, Kathy Faubus (Bill) of Farmington and Regina Turner of Hot Springs, two sisters, Wanda Gabriel of La Cresenta, CA and Flora Toffel (Lee) of Burbank, CA, three brothers, Floyd Adcock of Red Bluff, CA, Bill Adcock (Marcella) of Gerber, CA and Lindell Adcock of Little Rock, three grandchildren, Bill Daniels (Heather), Mike Daniels (Tonya) and Kelly Wilson and eight great grandchildren, Jaden Wilson and James, Josh, Natalie, Katie, Lennie, MeMe and Rebekah Daniels.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Shiloh Cemetery with Jeremy Bell officiating.

No visitation will be held.
