Arkansas Native Dies In California Crash

ARKADELPHIA---Charles Ray Adcock, 22, of Cathedral City, Calif., a native of Arkansas, was killed Sunday in an automobile accident at Indio, Calif.

Adcock was born at Gurdon and recently was discharged from the Marine Corps. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Adcock of Arkadelphia; five brothers, Leroy Adcock, Merlon Adcock, Floyd Adcock and Billy Adcock, all of California, and Lindel Adcock of Little Rock; eight sisters, Mrs. Millard Wilson, Mrs. Clayborne Sossamon and Mrs. William Bivens, all of Arkadelphia, Mrs. Lonnie Jester of Prescott, Mrs. Leslie Morgan of Traskwood, Mrs. Euel Allison of Little Rock and Mrs. Henry Gables and Mrs. Bob Stell, both of California, and his grandmother, Mrs. Rose Anna Adcock of Amity.

Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the DeGray Baptist Church near Arkadelphia. Burial will be at DeGray Cemetery by Murry-Ruggles Funeral Service.
