Chapel services for Millie Francis were held Saturday, Dec. 29, 1979 at the Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Truman Huffman officiating. Burial was in Captain's Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Francis died Thursday, Dec. 27 at Madison Memorial Hospital at the age of 90. She was a member of Twin Oaks Free Will Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Tom Francis, Bill Francis, Ray Matthews, Jesse Francis, Fred Francis and Bill Francis.
Survivors include five sons, Elijah Francis of Fredericktown, Robert Francis and Lloyd Francis, both of Viburnum, Barney Francis of Esther and Henry Francis of DeSoto; two daughters, Ruby Matthews of Fredericktown, and Ollie Walker of DeSoto; a stepson, Charlie Francis of Fredericktown; a stepdaughter, Lillie Pulliam of Farmington; a brother, Jess Arnett of Detroit, Mich.; 31 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Francis preceded her in death. Also preceding in death besides her parents were three sisters; two brothers; two half-sisters; a half-brother and three children, Clarence, Chester and Opal.
