Jeff D. Holder, aged 58 years, died at his home east of Oak Grove Church, Friday, following a stroke of paralysis. Besides his wife he leaves five sons and four daughters. He was a man of big jovial disposition and had many friends who will learn of his death with deep regret. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Colborn were held Monday at Oak Grove and burial was made in the cemetery at that place.
------------
Several of the older members of the family claimed that Jefferson cut himself while doing chores and cleaned the wound in the horse trough, and got Lock Jaw, and that caused the paralysis.
