Forrest was the son of Horace Gilbert and Tula Elizabeth Johnson Mansell. He was a lifelong Atoka resident. He attended school at East Tellico then married Dorothy Mae (Hyde) on April 9, 1952 at Atoka, OK. He was a school bus driver, and truck driver for the county. Forrest loved hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, and playing his fiddle. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Debbie Allen and husband Larry of Atoka, OK, Larry Mansell and wife Karen of Atoka, OK, Doris Mansell of Atoka, OK, Beth Barrett and husband Leon of Holdenville, OK, Keith ansell and wife Sheena of Atoka, OK, and Jan Walden and husband Kent of Ada, OK; sisters, Virginia Collier of Grand Junction, CO and Geneva Dodd of Stringtown, OK; 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gilbert and Darwin Mansell, and sister, Bettye Roberts. Services will be held at Brown's Funeral Chapel on Wed. Aug. 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Green Meadows Cemetery. Bro. Hershel Justus will officiate. Casket bearers will be Alfred Elliot, Worden Detty, Roger Langston, Gilbert Wilson, Hal Ishmael and Melvin Ishmael. Honorary casket bearers will be Ray Littleton, Tommy Lane, Floyd Howard, Leon Yates, Paul Howard and Richard Pugh.
