Luther A. Chaffee died Tuesday at the family residence, East Capitol avenue, after a lingering illness, aged 85 years, 9 months.
Survived by one son and two daughters, Louis L. Chaffee and Mary Chaffee, residing at home, and Mrs. F. C. Hill, Washington, D. C.
Funeral services at Thomas C. Smith's Sons chapel. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
