Death of Adolph Grauman
Adolph Grauman, aged father of Ferdinand R. Grauman, of Round Prairie township, died at the home of his son at 6 o'clock Sunday evening, death being due to the infirmities of age, superinduced by dropsy. Mr. Grauman was born in Germany March 10, 1830, making his age at the time of death 88 years, 9 months and 25 days.Mr. Grauman was a harness maker by trade and followed that occupation both in Germany and after having come to America to make his home. He had resided for the past thirteen years with his son, Frederick, first at Jeffers, in Cottonwood county, and for the past six years in this county. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, F. R. Grauman, of Round Prairie, Julius Grauman, of Jeffers, and Mrs. Annie Hanson, of St. Paul, as well as by fifteen grandchildren. The remains were brought to Long Prairie Tuesday morning, brief funeral services being held at the Peterson undertaking parlors, conducted by Rev. C. H. Balke and attended by many of the friends of the family. The body was then taken to Jeffers for interment at the old home of the deceased. F. R. Grauman accompanied the body to Jeffers.

Adolph is buried with his first wife Augustina Schraeder, born 1839 in Germany, died 2 Dec 1876 in Redwood Co., MN, at the age of 37 years, 3 months.
