ANDERSON, SC - Mrs. Georgia Ethel Brown Kinley, age 95, of 416 Jackson Road, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 20, 2010.
Born in Hart County, Georgia, Mrs. Kinley was a daughter of the late James Henry Brown and Flora Hall Brown. She retired after 39 years of service from Toxaway Mill. She was an active member of Andersonville Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, served on the Historical Committee and helped with the children in Bible School and Awanas.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Kinley and his wife, Barbara, and Ted Kinley and his wife, Jo, all of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Ruth B. Browning
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kinley was preceded in death by her husband, Levis Andrew Kinley; son, Donald Kinley; granddaughter, Sheryl Kinley; brothers, Denver, Eldridge, Henry, and BC Brown; sisters, Janie Hunnicutt and Thelma Owens.
The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at 3:00 pm, in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Bruce Evans and Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of her son, Bobby Kinley, 406 Jackson Road, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
