Fannie Ruth Brown Browning, 100, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 AnMed Health Medical Center.
She was born February 18, 1920 in Anderson County, SC, and was the daughter of the late Henry Brown and Flora Hall Brown. She was married to Joshua Allen Browning for 48 years until his death in 2005. Ruth had previously worked for Ladlasie Mills and True Temper. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, James Allen Browning and Ray David Browning (Joy) both of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Josh Browning, Jennifer Mercer, Adam Browning, Jessica Miller, Rebecca McCoy and Ashley Folsom; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Denver, Eldridge, Henry and B.C. Brown; and sisters, Jamie Hunnicutt, Ethel Kinley and Thelma “Tootsie” Owens.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Rev. Steve Silvey officiating.
