Born Jan. 16, 1890, in Hancock County, he was the son of John R. and Martha Jane (Roberts) Kingen.
A lifelong resident of McCordsville, he was a retired Buck Creek Township farmer.
He was the widower of Belle Elizabeth (Nickel) Kingen.
Survivors include son, Dennis M. Kingen, McCordsville; daughter, Mrs. Allen (Anna Jane) Evry, Silver Springs, Md.; brother, Quitman Kingen, Fortville; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ronald L. Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.
Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
