b. 20 December 1882, TN – d. 30 October 1979, Sparta, TN, md on the 2nd of October 1910, Putnam Co, TN to Sarah Jane (Harord) Buckner, b. 13 December 1887, TN – d. 17 June 1983. Crawford Buckner, s/o Joseph "Joe" Buckner & Caroline Sims.

COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Crawford Buckner, 96, will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Roberson officiating.
Mr. Buckner died October 30 at the Sparta Health Care Center following an extended illness.
A native of Putnam County and a resident of Cookeville, he was the son of the late Joe and Caroline Sims Buckner. He was a retired farmer and a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow. Sarah Jane Bucker of Cookeville; two half sisters, Mrs. Minnie Adkins and
Mrs. Flossie Bilbrey, both of Cookeville; a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery.
