Jason Ells Lakeman, son of Daniel Webster & Cynthia Anne (Ingersoll) Lakeman, immigrated from New Brunswick, Canada in 1889 and on 01 Nov 1893, married Jane Mariah Alley, daughter of Edmund Nugent & Jane Moriah (Alley) Alley. Together Jane and Jason had 5-children. Their first 3-children were born on Head Harbor Island, the last two were born in Jonesport, ME. A downeast fisherman, lobster and sardine. Such a wonderful, kind and generous man. Thank you again for all the barrels of lobster you sent me for my birthday!! And, the jars of salted, strip-fish! RIP Grampy Jase, I miss you.....
