Adam Boeshore, 82, 911 Chestnut St., died yesterday in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital. He was the widower of Lillie M Cochran Boeshore. Boeshore was born in Jonestown, son of the late Edward and Susan Binkley Boeshore. A retired Bethlehem Steel worker, he was a member of Tabor United Church of Christ and was past president of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Lebanon. He was a life member of the Hook and Ladder Fire Co., and served 33 years as the company's secretary. He was a member of the Jonestown Perseverance Fire Co. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Retired Steelworkers Club and the Lincoln Republican Club. He was a charter member of the National Firemen's Shrine and Hall of Fame. He was a member of the state and county firemen's associations and the Firemen's Aid Association.
He is survived by four daughters: Dorothy, wife of Allen Kreichbaum, Lebanon; Margaret, wife of Allen Demmy, Lebanon; Mildred, wife of Earl Light, San Antonio, Tex., and Charlotte, wife of Richard Roland, Lebanon. Also surviving are three sons, Clifford of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Ray and Walter of Lebanon; 29 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
