Charles Raynes was born near Anderson, Indiana, June 27, 1875 and departed this life at Moline, Illinois, April 6, 1925.
He had been sick since November 11, 1921 and had suffered a great deal. He left a living testimony behind which was a great comfort to the relatives and friends and while they sorrow they do not sorrow as those who have no hope.
The body was shipped to Luray, Missouri for burial in Combs Cemetery.
Two brothers, two sisters, a step-mother and one aunt survive, beside a host of other relatives.
