Adline Rose TriggsAdline Rose "Chainky" Triggs, 83, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 200

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church.

Burial will be in the Bell Baptist Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Nell Triggs Strickland of Raceland; sons, Leroy Triggs, Rodney Triggs, Oliver Triggs Sr., Arthur Triggs Jr., Egerald Triggs, of Raceland, and Larry Triggs of Houma, Rosebut Triggs of Marrero and Harold Triggs of Thibodaux; 35 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Triggs Sr.; her parents, Hazel Sr., and Agnes Williams Rose; son, Lionel Triggs Sr., and brothers, Joseph Rose, and Hazel Rose Jr.She was a member of Third Zion Baptist Church. She was a homemaaker. Her hobbies included cooking, and shopping.
