Graveside service for Josephine Sewell Hamilton, 90, of Summerford Nursing Home will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Boling officiating.
Mrs. Hamilton died Saturday at Decatur General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Dr. J.G. Hamilton, who was a Decatur dentist for 40 years. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the Decatur General Hospital Foundation.
She is survived by one son, Dr. John Hamilton of Decatur; one daughter, Eleanor Dimick of Stone Mountain, Ga; one sister, Rena Webb of Birmingham; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
