Jeff had been baptized at the Millwood Church of Christ.
He enjoyed serving as a volunteer at the Knox County Career Center in Mount Vernon where he was known as "Papoo".
Jeff loved and adored his daughter and granddaughter Trisha (Mark) Nofsinger and Alexis Tomlin who survive. Also surviving are Jeff's sisters Barbara Horn of Mount Vernon and Carol (Richard) McFerren of Fredericktown. His parents preceded him in death.
At Jeff's request there will be no calling hours and graveside services will be Monday at 2pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
