Mrs. Wilhelmina Ockander Passes Away
After a sickness of considerable duration, Mrs. Wilhelmina Ockander passed away Wednesday morning at her home from heart trouble. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Ockander was one of the oldest settlers of this community having lived here close to fifty years.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. C. P. Winkle officiating with Demme Service in charge. Obituary next week.

Parents were John Nicholas and Elizabeth Sandelin.
Married Jacob Ockander at West Point in 1877.
She was the mother of 13 children. Preceded in death by eight children, Mary passing away in 1894, John in 1912, Leroy and Helen in 1918 and four in infancy.
Surviving are Laura, Henry, William, Edna, Ira and Mrs. Agnes Albrektson and two stepsons, Francis of Bancroft and Charles of Nampa, Idaho and two grandchildren.
