Fletcher (Staff) -- Funeral for Abram Kethley Ezzell, 71, who died early today [15 Jun 1976] in a Lawton[, Oklahoma] hospital after a lengthy illness, will be at 2 pm [on] Friday [18 Jun 1976] at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe F. Stewart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in [the] Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of the Robbins Funeral Home.

Mr. Ezzell was born [on] Nov[ember] 22, 1904 in Katie[, Oklahoma]. He grew up around Dattie[, Oklahoma] and Elmore City[, Oklahoma]. He moved to Cement[, Oklahoma] in 1932 and to Fletcher[, Oklahoma] in 1946. He retired from [the] Mobile Oil Company after 45 years of employment. He was married to Willie Mauldin on Nov[ember] 18, 1926 at Pauls Valley[, Oklahoma]. She died on March 2, 1969. He was then married to Edith Goodson on Sept[ember] 18, 1969 at Fletcher[, Oklahoma]. Mr. Ezzell was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by one son.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters: Mrs. Howard Conrad of Fletcher[, Oklahoma] [and] Mrs Winnie Jaques of Duncan[, Oklahoma]; three step-daughters: Mrs. Carl Smith [of] Winston, Ore[gon], Mrs. Bob Manning [of] Kirksville, M[issouri], and Mrs. Bob Smith of Cement[, Oklahoma]; three step-sons: Mike Goodson [of] Roseburg, Ore[gon], Chester of Cement[, Oklahoma], and Joe of South Haven, Kan[sas]; one sister: Mrs. Horace Oglesbee of Foster[, Oklahoma]; five grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
