Alfred A. Ebner, 68, of 4 N. 13th St. Easton, died this morning in Allentown General Hospital.
Mr. Ebner was employed as an accountant at the Ingersoll-Rand Co. He retired 10 years ago after 37 years with the company.
Born April 25, 1896, in Easton, he was a son of the late Frederick and Flora Diehl Ebner.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include his widow, the former Maybelle E. Hendershot; a daughter, Mrs. Flora M. Betts, at home; a nephew whom he raised, Lawrence Hendershot, Bladensurg, MD; a brother James, Easton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kiefer, Albany, NY, and Mrs. Estella Everhart, Easton, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.

The funeral of Alfred a. Ebner of 4 N. 13th St., who died Wednesday in Allentown General Hospital, was held this afternoon in the Ashton Funeral Home.
Rev. R. W. Musselman, former pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Pen Argyl, officiated. Internment was in Northampton Memorial Shrine. The pallbearers were Arthur Gable, Lewis Parker, Fred Buchman, William Meyers, George Betts and Walter Evans.
Mr. Ebner was employed at Ingersoll-Rand Co. 47 years until his retirement. His survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Kuebler of Albany, NY.
