The Baldwin Family were among the early settlers of the Horseneck Tract and the Livingston area. They were involved in the Horseneck Riots in 1745. Capt. Enos Baldwin received a Coat of Arms from George III King of England for his service in the French and Indian War. He was buried here in 1807.
