Nancy Alice Over, daughter of Emanuel and Mary Kifer Over, died at her late home
in Santa Ana, California, on September 15. She was born on the Over homestead
near Callensburg, Clarion county, Pennsylvania, October 15, 1851, and spent
nearly sixty years of her life in that vicinity, coming to the Pacific coast in
1910. She had been in failing health for a number of years but her death was
hastened by a fall, which resulted in a broken arm and dislocated elbow joint.

She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church, having been confirmed.Funeral services
were held from the Funeral Chapel of Harrel and Brownon Monday, September 18, with Rev M. W. Meyer of St. Peter Lutheran church of
Santa Ana officiating.
Her body was laid to rest in the Masnie Section of the beautiful Fairhaven
cemetery,one of the loveliest spots in the United States.
