Mrs. Henry Coers Has Passed Away - Paralysis Caused Death of Well Known Resident of the County Saturday at One-Thirty O’Clock - Mrs. Henry Coers, aged forty-nine years, died at her home, one mile west of Blue Ridge, Saturday at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon. Mrs. Coers death was caused by paralysis with which she had been suffering for the past week. She suffered a bad stroke of paralysis on last Tuesday and since that time had been confined to her bed. She was unable to speak part of the time and was unable to move the limbs on one side of her body. Mrs. Coers was one of the prominent residents of the Blue Ridge community. She had lived there many years and was widely acquainted with persons in this and Rush counties. Her death will be mourned by many friends in both counties. Mrs. Coers was a member of the Christian Union church and was one of the active members, always being ready to join in any work which the church was doing. She was a member of the ladies societies of the church. She is survived by her husband, one son, Wesley Coers, at home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gaeheimer, near Blue Ridge, seven brothers, Fred Gaeheimer, near this city; Thomas, Blue Ridge; Henry, William, Charles and Frank, of near Blue Ridge, and Michael, Jr., of Madison county; one sister, Mrs. Harry Boufe of near Waldron. The funeral services will be announced later by Stewart & Fix, who are in charge.

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Henry Coers, who died at her home near Blue Ridge Saturday afternoon, were held Monday morning at ten thirty o’clock at the Blue Ridge Christian Union church, the Rev. O.J. McMullen officiating. Burial was made in the Blue Ridge cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix.
