Loia Camp Freeman, 88, formerly of Albion, died Thursday, December 29, 1994 at Pleasant Ridge Manor after a short illness.

She was born in Lundy's Lane on July 19, 1906, a daughter of the late George and Sarah Fleming Camp. She was a member of Wellsburg United Methodist Church in Wellsburg and the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 22, in Albion, where she was a past matron. She retired from Girard Marx Model Works in 1968 after thirty-eight years of service.

She is survived by a son, Earl Freeman of North East; a daughter, Mrs. June Ryan of Mena, Arkansas; two sisters, Georgia Hosford of Conneautville, and Alice Fleming of Farrell; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Otto G. Freeman, on August 19, 1974; and by three sisters, Bertha Jones, Orva Dailey, and Dorothy Struchen.

Friends may call at Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home in Albion today from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Forrest Bowles, pastor of Wellsburg United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Wellsburg.
