He was a gifted builder and handyman, who was proud to have helped build the Praise Cathedral sanctuary. Earl loved all kinds of music and was a talented singer and musician.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Grace Rose Coletta Freeman.
Surviving is his sister, June Ryan (Oklahoma City, Okla.); one son, David Freeman (North East), four daughters, Doris (Sam) Conley of Erie, Ruth (Tommy) O'Donnell of Kissimmee, Fla.; Bonnie (Paul) Moorhead of Leesburg, Fla.; and Faye (Michael) Smith of Dallas, Texas; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one niece and nephew in Arkansas, two nephews in Louisiana, one nephew in Oklahoma, and numerous valued family members in Erie.
Interment in North East Cemetery.
