Son of James Marion & Caroline (PATE) SIZEMORE. Married February 13, 1880, in Chattahoochee County, Georgia, to Martha "Mattie" MORRIS. Farmer and father of eight children. His wife had borne 8 children, 6 of whom were still living in 1900 - the two who had died were apparently Ed SIZEMORE and Mollie SIZEMORE; it is not clear if they died before the couple moved from Chattahoochee County to Worth County, so their burial places are not presently known. Wash died between 1927 and Census Day (April 1) 1930, probably at Glory in General Militia District #518 (Alphalpha District), Berrien County, Georgia. Burial in the Willacoochee City Cemetery not certain but likely, as his widow was buried there - if so, his grave is apparently unmarked.

On 01 MAY 2019, Britt D. Hayes (Contributor #47477142) submitted a suggested edit to add 1936 as the death year for Wash. NEED A SOURCE FOR THIS. His wife Mattie is reported to be a widow on the 1930 federal census of Militia District 518 (Glory District) in Berrien County, Georgia. Also unable to locate a death certificate for him, which there should be if he died in 1936 in Georgia.
