Ethel (Donovan) Thomas, 91, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Shepherd, Texas. Ethel was born Sunday, July 6, 1919 in Fostoria, TX to the late Bert and Myra Enloe Donovan.
Ethel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce V. Thomas and son, Jerry D. Thomas.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Pat A. Lunsford and husband Troy of Cleveland, TX; sons, Bobby Thomas and wife Brenda of Rockport, TX, Bruce Wayne Thomas and wife Peggy of Shepherd, TX; brother, Curtis Donovan of Conroe, TX. Numerous other loving family and friends.
Visitation for Ethel will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm. Service for Ethel will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas. Reverend Ronnie Culberth and Dr. Preston Baker officiating.
