Mr. Ritter was the son of Abraham (Abram) and Hannah Ritter. He was a W.W. I veteran and a former post commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Martinsburg, West VA. He was am ember of the First Baptist Church, the Order of Moose and the Ameican Legion at Martinsburg.
Surviving are his wife,Grace Perrell Ritter; daughters, Mary Louise and Betty; brothers Frank, John and Howard; sisters Lara Stake, Mrs. Wallace B. Smith and Mrs George W. Miller.
