WALLACE — Mrs. Inez Ward Boney, 95, of Richmond, Va. formerly of Wallace, died Friday, January 4, in Richmond, Va. Graveside service will be held Sunday Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. from the Rockfish Cemetery in Wallace conducted by Rev. Dennis Bazemore.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Boney Hester of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Lloyd W. Boney of Rock Hill, S.C. and E.G. Boney Jr., of Williamston; one sister, Mrs. Virgilia W. Wells of Farmville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Boney was the daughter of the late James O. and Aurelia Harrell Ward and was the widow of Eugene G. Boney and had made her home in Richmond, Va. for the past several years.
The family will receive at the Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace from 7-9 p.m. today and will be at the residence of Mrs. James (Annette) Rose in Wallace other times.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity A Padgett Service of Wallace.
