Eurie Oliver, 83, formerly of Baldwin Avenue, Princeton, died Wednesday, July 6th, at 10:40 a.m. at Crittenden County Hospital, Marion, after a short illness.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 8th, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Willis McCracken and the Rev. Billy Glover officiating.
Burial followed in Blue Springs Church Cemetery, Caldwell County, Ky.
A Lyon County native, he was born April 6th 1911, a son of the late Melvin and Lucinda Oliver.
Mr. Oliver was a retired farm employee of the University of Kentucky Experiment Farm and a member of Friendship United Methodist church.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Mary Frances King,in 1980.
Survivors include three daughters, Freda June Willis and Carolyn Guinn, both of Lyon County, and Linda Keel of Evansville, Indiana; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Wallace Byard, Princeton; and one sister, Adel Duckworth, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
