Funeral services for Walter W Duecker were held Sunday, July 6, 1975 at 3pm in St Paul Lutheran Church, Cave Creek, with the Reverends Arthur Sortland and A W Weber officiating.

Mr Duecker died unexpectedly at 1:37pm, Friday July 4 while a guest in the home of the Oscar Pehls in Blanco where he was visiting with the parents-in-law of his son, Reinhold H Duecker.

A retired farmer and rancher of the Cave Creek community, the Dueckers made their home at 209 E Schubert Street in Fredericksburg.

He was a native of Gillespie County and was born on February 17, 1897, the son of Reinhold Duecker and Amalia Doell Duecker.

He served in the US Army in WWI.

He was married to Katherine Jacoby on May 5, 1920. The couple had been married for 55 years.

Burial was in the Cave Creek Cemetery.
