Richard W. Edwards 436 Cedar St., passed away at the Chadron Hospital Feb. 9, at the age of 74 years. He was born in Jackson Co. Iowa, on March 10, 1892, and was married 20 Feb. 1918 to Tillie Lanegam. He lived in the Chadron vicinity for the last 49 years and was a retired C. & NW boilermaker. He is survived by his wife, Tillie, five daughters, Rosemary Wampole of Sunnyside, Wash., Delores Schrader of Gordon, Arlene Miller of Chadron; Maurine Martensen of Commerce City, Colo., and Edith Hart of Grand Junction, Colo., one sister, and 1 brother.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb 11, at 2 p.m. at the Erlewine-Hartman Funeral Home with Fred K. Pattinson officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Erlewint-Hartman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. - Dawes Co. Hist. Soc. Chadron NE 69337
