Junior W. Miller, 88, of Silver Run, died Thurs, Dec 21, at his home. He was the husband of Bertha V. (Stansbury) Miller for 67 years. Born Aug 30, 1935 in Westminster, Junior was the son of the late Milton & Mary (Stonesifer) Miller. He had been employed with Carroll County Roads Department.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Garry Miller & Sherre of Littlestown and Dale Miller & Deborah of Dillsburg; his grandchildren, Justin Miller, Kristy Wentz and Katie Trostle; his great grandchildren, Austin Wentz, Andrew Trostle, Jr. and Addyson Trostle; and his sisters, Alta Cotingame and Virginia Shorb, both of Westminster.

Junior was predeceased by his sister, Arlene Lippy, his twin brother, Truman, and his brothers: Sterling, Jim, Kenny, Stanley and Earle Miller.

He was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, Silver Run, where he was on the church council. He enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR on Sundays and spending time with his family.

Funeral Service is Thurs, Dec 28, at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Frigm officiating. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Silver Run.
