HEBER CITY — Sarah Nancy Butler Covert, 87, died Tuesday in a Heber City hospital after a long illness.

She was born Dec. 4, 1882 in Butlerville to Silas S. and Mary Jensen Jones. She married Neri A. Butler on March 27, 1901; he died Nov. 3, 1918. She married James S. Covert Jan. 30, 1921; he died July 16, 1957.

A member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Covert was a former resident of Spring City in Sanpete County, Bingham Canyon, and Salt Lake City.

Survivors include two sons, LaVelle A. Butler, Marysvale, Calif., Mack J. Butler, Sal Lake City; four daughters, Mrs. Hilding (Lila) Sundquist, Salt Lake City, Mrs. James(Marie) Jorgensen, Wolford Heights, Calif., Mrs. Roy (Helen) Kresean, Payson, Mrs. Bernard (Faun) Smith, La Priestly, Ida.; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Edwin L. Jones, Draper, Joseph Jones, Tooele, Allen Jones, Salt Lake City; four sisters, Mrs. John (Bertie) Ellison, Mrs. Henry (Alice) Pelum, both of Salt Lake, Mrs. Roscoe (May) Staker, Butlerville, Mrs. George(Ida) Bolman, Copperton.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m., 8090 S. State, Salt Lake, where friends may call Friday from 7 to 8 p.m., and Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
