Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Willie Jasper and Vernie Spencer Adams and widower of Ruth Barber Adams. He served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the retired owner of Associated Brokers and had been employed with The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company and AFS.
Surviving are three nieces, Jackie Scott of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Crabtree of NC, and Gail Williams of Berea, SC and friend, Beth Grogan of Greer, SC.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his son, Glenn Wilton Adams.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11 - 11:45 am, with the Funeral Service to follow at noon in the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Burial will be held Monday at 2pm in Eastview Cemetery, located in Westminster, SC.
