Father: Knut Knutson

Lewis Knudson, one of the early residents here in Hartland, is a native of Norway, and dates his birth as August 5, 1830.
He was married in April, 1853, to Miss Isabel Kittleson, and the same year they came to America.
In 1858 they moved from Wisconsin to Hartland and secured a farm in section fifteen.
Mr. Knudson died on July 9, 1925 having borne seven children, only one is still living.
His present wife, Miss Isabel Torgerson he married on the 20th of May, 1872 and the six children born to this union.

It has been said that there might of been a cemetery on Lewis property, but no one can say for sure?
There was a few stones found on the property, one which had the name of Ingeborg on it, with no dates?
Lewis was married to Ingeborg Kittleson and she died in 1872. That might be her stone?
If there was any people buried there they are all covered over now. None have been moved for re-burial.
God Rest their souls in Peace!
