Dear husband of Janet Elsie (nee Newton), loving father of Ruth Ann (Gregory) Straub, Janel (Jeffery) Gelhaar, and Dori (Steve) Storch.
Further survived by 6 grandchildren, Ryan (Gina) and Rebecca Eigenfeld, Danielle and Kristin Gelhaar, Stephanie and Nicholas Storch; brother, Donald (Helen); 2 sisters, Marcene Ruehr, Carol (Edward) Schultz; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by parents William and Ruth (Koerner) Birnschein, a sister, Marion (Wallace) Ertel and brother-in-law, Paul Ruehr.
Funeral Services will be Monday, Aug. 14 at 7 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, Pastor Tyge Zucker officiating, with burial following.
