Mrs. Tizon, who was born in the Philippines, lived in Riverside 17 years. She received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of the Philippines.
She was a high school teacher for the Bureau of Education in the Philippines for 30 years before she retired in 1973. She also was a homemaker.
Mrs. Tizon was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Riverside.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting.
Mrs. Tizon is survived by four daughters, Lutgarda Tizon of Los Angeles, Ramona Porras of Riverside, Constancia Hernandez of Laguna Niguel and Marieta Dayo of the Philippines; three sons, Orlando of Chicago, Vicente Jr. of the Philippines and Lorenzo of San Marino; seven grandchildren; a brother, Jesus Esguerra of the Philippines; and a sister, Angeles Figueroa of Glendale.
