Mrs. Jeffreys
Mrs. Ollie Leona Jeffreys, 74, Rt. 2, Leighton, died Monday at Colbert County Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was the widow of Grant Jeffreys, a native of Colbert County and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Service will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Crawford Rutherford and Rev. Bob Moritz will officiate. Burial will be in Hardshell Cemetery, Spry Funeral Home of Sheffield directing.
The body will be at the home until time for the service.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Sallie Sizemore; sons, Grant Jeffreys, Leighton; Archie Bishop Jeffreys, Iuka, Miss.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Hester Utley, Leighton; Mrs. Nora Akins, Russellville; Mrs. Alma Wood, Leighton; brother, Judge Grissom; nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Melvin Jeffreys, James Utley, Travis Dawson, Harold Dawson, Thomas Utley and Gary Wood.
