Mary, age 77, was the daughter of John Calvin and Etta Mary (Cole) Chapman. She married Charlie Noland on August 2, 1906, in Sioux City, Iowa. They had five sons and four daughters.

Survivors include her children, Willis Noland, Boyd Noland, Charles Noldan, Willard Noland, Byron Noland, Daisy I. Graf, Ellen Graf, Maxine Fritz, and Alice Connet, her siblings, Myrle Jones, Ralph Chapman, and Elmer Chapman, her half-brother, Jim Chapman, 34 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial was in Onaga Cemetery.
