LAVERNE HAMAKER SERVICES THURSDAY
Laverne W. Hamaker, 44, of 14612 15 Mile Road, Marshall, died Monday morning after an industrial accident at Midwest Metallurgical Lab., Inc., 15290 15 Mile Road, where he was vice-president.

Mr. Hamaker was born April 15, 1929, in Albion and lived in the Marshall area all of his life. He was graduated from Marshall High School in 1947 and attended Albion College.

He married Freda A. Spindlow Aug. 13, 1949, here. She survives him.

He was a member of the American Foundry Society, National Foundry Association, Grey and Ducticle Society, and Industrial Engineering Society. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge No. 676 and a third degree Mason.

Mr. Hamaker is also survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Kermit J. Hamaker, Marshall; four sons, Michael L., Marshall, Jon P., Allen J., and William F. all at home; three daughters, Terrilym, Julie K., and Linda L., at home, and two brothers, Eugene D., and Dr. Ronald C., both of Marshall.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. thursday at the Court Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph P. Witmer, United Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be at Oakridge cemetery.
