A retired carpenter and a resident of Denham Springs, he died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. He was 79 and a native of Hammond. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Park.

Survived by his wfe of more than 60 years, Juanita Miley Milton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Addison, Albany, James and Joyce Milton and Byron and April Milton, all of Denham Springs; a sister, Helen Cutrer; two brothers, Robert and Clarance Milton; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father and mother.

He was a member of First Southern Methodist Church, Denham Springs. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 160, Carpenters Local Union No. 1098 and Woodmen of the World.
