Died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1979, at Seventh Ward General Hospital, Hammond. He was 80, a native of Walker and a resident of Baptist. Visiting at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 8 a.m. Thursday until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in New Beulah Cemetery, Baptist.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Stewart Milton, Baptist; three sons, Eugene E. Milton, Denham Springs, Clarence H. Milton, Baton Rouge, and Robert Milton, Hammond; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Helen) Bigner, Kenner; four brothers, Leonard Milton, Frost, Lawrence, Willard and Mack Milton, all of Baptist; four sisters, Mrs. Chris Harrell, Frost, Mrs. Jack (Verna) McCrory and Mrs. George (Leona) Bankston, both of Baptist, and Mrs. Alzada McCalister, Krotz Springs; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
