SPRINGFIELD - Mae Bird Cooksey Hale, 95, passed away Saturday. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Hale (Betty) and L.W. Hale (Barbara Ann); two daughters, Maxine Coleman and Marianna Mattingly (Bob); 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Loraine Cooksey. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Willisburg Christian Church. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at Carey & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Calvary or to Willisburg Christian Church Building Fund.
