Jennie B. Midtgard, 60, of 115 Wales St., Camden died Tuesday (March 10, 1987) at Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, following a short illness.

She was born July 8, 1926, in Hillsdale County to Dallas and Alice Butcher Finegan.

A 1944 graduate of Jonesville High School, she lived in Camden for 30 years, moving there from Jonesville.

Mrs. Midtgard was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church.

On March 22, 1947, she married Fredrick Midtgard. He preceded her in death in 1979.

She is survived by her stepmother, Inez Finegan of Hillsdale; two sons, Thomas Midtgard of Camden, and Steve Midtgard of Reading; one sister Mrs. Betty Bradshaw of Jonesville; two brothers Harold Finegan of Detroit, and Neil Finegan of Jonesville; and five grandchildren.

One son preceded her death.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Camden United Methodist Chruch, with the Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Burial will follow in the Moscow Plains Cemetery. Friends may call at the St. John-White Funeral Home, Camden, anytime Thursday afternoon. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Thursday evening.
